Senior Project Manager

  • $95 /hr Posted June 10, 2025 Our client, a well-known Boston-based biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team for a 6 month contract.

This has potential to extend or go full-time permanent. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 2-3 days/week on site in Boston. The role will focus on managing the client’s Speaker Bureau Platform, managing their external vendor that helps them manage and schedule their speakers at events (they do about 700 speaker series per year). This person will sit on marketing operations and work closely with Brand and Legal to support the management of the speaker series, working closely with the vendor, but also help the marketing team set up a formal process of how this should run internally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Ensure program vendor and processes deliver per agreement
  • Vendor Master Agreement / Service Statement ownership
  • Ensure program policies and processes are defined clearly across the company and vendor
  • Execute speaker contracts and implement annual contract renewal process
  • Develop dashboard for

attendees, budget parameters

  •  Oversee measurement plan development
  • Plan business reviews for Business Unit(s)
  • Program budget monitoring and future planning
  •  Leads and/or participates in process and system improvement efforts as a SME.
  •  Look for innovation and continuous operations improvement
Requirements:
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in project management or marketing operations
  • Demonstrated experience with key performance indicators and quality metrics for vendors
  • Strong interpersonal skills to explain difficult information and work to build alignment
  • Experience in a regulated industry (pharma or healthcare a plus) In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.

This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
