Job Summary:

Responsible for planning and executing projects within budget and on-time. Facilitates and manages the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to ensure project delivery according to plan. Defines project objectives and oversees quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.

Essential Functions:

Direct and manage project development from initiation to completion. Understand and confirm business unit needs in writing. Assign action items post meetings and provide actionable meeting notes. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify potential crises, devising contingency plans. Delegate tasks and responsibilities and identify/manage project dependencies and critical paths. Lead cross-functional project teams and create/manage all project plans. Conduct post-completion meetings and create recommendations reports. Manage project budget, track hours, expenses, milestones, and legal documents completion. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Understand each Business Unit’s function and its relation to active projects. Uphold Geiger company culture of inclusion and collaboration in managing project teams.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in project management. Familiarity with project management software. 1 – 3 years of related experience.

Competencies/Skills:

Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize tasks. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to conform to shifting priorities and timelines. Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources and bring projects to successful completion. Political sensitivity and past project issue resolution skills.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer use. Additional work hours may be required to meet project deadlines. Ability to concentrate for extended periods, handle multiple tasks, and interact with team members, vendors, and customers.

Certification Requirement:

PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent work experience preferred. Industry certification at the MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) level.
