This position will support our Sales team and manage HVAC work for clients and subcontractors. This position will act as a project support liaison between the sales department, technicians, service and install manager, providers and operations ensuring that all groups participate in the successful implementation of all types of project work including emergency unit replacements and planned unit replacement installations. Responsibilities Effectively manage a project from bid stage to final installation process Manage project deadlines and to meet customer and company expectations Track and present project progress both internally and externally Manage budget margins and costs effectively Ability to train and communicate best practices to vendors and providers Effectively communicate with customer and center staff Other duties include managing and or assisting all phases of projects from surveying, quoting, pricing, equipment ordering, installation and post installation and billing phases, permit issuing. All project best practices following Pine State Service – Service Experts project outline must be managed successfully on time and within budget. All projects must be tracked within our software as well as the clients and must always be current and up to date. Negotiating and or assisting with providers, technicians, clients and government municipalities will be required. This position will interact with all levels of employees and clients and must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidate will facilitate coordination among multiple entities to ensure timely project completion to include equipment audits, new startups, and any other special services or projects required Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: Minimum 3 years project management experience Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in professional office environment Strong communication skills, both verbal & written Strong computer skills – Proficient in Excel, Word & other software programs Ability to negotiate internally and externally with all resources types including providers, vendors, suppliers and technical resources Ability to multi-task and perform work accurately at a fast pace Ability to pay close attention to detail Ability to articulate themselves well & influence clients & vendors alike Previous and successful experience with person-to-person presentations regarding project updates Skills that will allow them to interpret data to manipulate & create spreadsheets Ability to learn quickly & adapt to different processes that vary by customer Ability to work with data within our database to execute projects and purchase orders with our vendors and suppliers Takes ownership of assigned projects and of own development Ability to interpret HVAC and mechanical blueprints Ability to create a scope of work for a sub-contractor and hold them accountable to it HVAC knowledge is
