The Role The Lead Project Manager in Lumen’s Engineering and Construction organization will be responsible for overseeing the execution of transformational projects within our Centralized Operations team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, and previous experience with engineering, construction and field operations. The Lead Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, ensuring that deadlines are met, responsibilities are clear, and actions are completed. The role also focuses on realizing business efficiencies and maintaining budgets. This position demands excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive project success and support Lumen’s transformational objectives. Location and Schedule This is a Work From Home position in the United States. The Main Responsibilities + Develop, plan, and manage the implementation of activities for highly complex projects and programs for both external and internal customers throughout their lifecycle. + Be accountable for the timely completion and delivery of projects, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met. + Analyze work plans and schedules, and develop comprehensive project progress and status reports, including executive status updates. + Oversee resource requirements and allocation, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and effectively utilized. + Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. + Develop and distribute timely meeting minutes, track and manage action items, and verify that they are incorporated into the program schedule to ensure deliverables are met on time. + Assess and manage risks, impacts, and potential alternatives, escalating issues to the appropriate level of management as required. + Set program objectives and establish clear measures to successfully define and meet project deliverables and timelines, utilizing the
