Tallo's Job Summary: The American Red Cross is seeking a bilingual (English + Spanish) detail-oriented and self-motivated senior manager for digital content strategy, with a focus on the Biomedical Services website (RedCrossBlood.org) and app (Blood Donor App). This fully remote position will lead content strategy and implementation across Red Cross digital platforms with the goal of enhancing and optimizing a visitor's journey and into the conversion funnel. Additionally, in the first 12-24 months of this role, a large portion of time will be dedicated to serving as the POC for content as part of an organizational-wide website redesign initiative including content migration and translation, while continuing to own all day-to-day duties within the current platforms. The candidate will also be responsible for managing all in-app content including items such as promotions, badges, feature updates and more. The candidate will need to possess strong organizational skills and deep experience with content strategy as well as content implementation. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Key Responsibilities:
Project and People Management
Manage and implement web content strategy and migration as part of a large organizational-wide website redesign project for RedCrossBlood.org.
Serve as the POC and project manager for content migration and multilanguage translation requirements, as well as being hands-on in the implementation and optimization before, during, and after launch.
Develop and manage content-related project milestones, timelines, resources, and requirements when implementing content into new frameworks.
Provide data and analytics to support content strategy decisions and organizational needs when considering user journeys, page components, SEO, and web best practices.
Assist with content migration from one CMS into the next and complete content QA with a focus on the multilingual experience.
Drive innovation and optimization, many times serve as a project manager, across both web and app platforms for items like web journeys (deep linking) and additional content and component enhancements.
Serve as accessibility lead and liaison performing regular content audits to ensure the site remains accessible to all visitors. Project manage updates that need to be met to achieve maximum accessibility across RedCrossBlood.org and Blood Donor App. Content Strategy and Management
In partnership with marketing and engagement teams, craft compelling web and app content that drives engagement and conversions supporting blood product donations and lead generation efforts.
Own and manage all web and in-app content requests and processes as part of the larger content strategy for RedCrossBlood.org and Blood Donor App. This includes working with cross-functional teams (engagement, product, marketing) leading discovery sessions, identifying content requirements and objectives, wireframing, content development (writing content and imagery selection), content implementation and QA. This role is responsible for ensuring all parties are at the table moving content forward with both speed and thoughtfulness.
