Project Development Manager – Infrastructure at Cianbro in Pittsfield, Maine, United States Job Description Lead the development of project opportunities that supports the achievement of strategic goals in the Infrastructure Market. Support the team during all phases of the project pursuit life cycle; from initial discovery, preparation of win strategies, technical proposal development and estimate. Job Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and track strategic relationships in the Infrastructure Market with clients, engineering firms, subcontractors, and material/equipment suppliers.
Work meticulously and cohesively with all markets within the business and be able to form new relationships as well as maintain relationships with potential/current clients.
Remain current on local, state, regional, and federal policy issues as they relate to our market.
Perform industry research on emerging markets and identify and explore new opportunities.
Track and communicate future project opportunities. Prepare and engage in company meetings and presentations with senior leaders.
Prepare pursuit strategies that align with company/market goals.
Assist the team during estimate development with vendor outreach, scope development, subcontractor/supplier solicitation.
Participate in various stages of written technical proposal development during a pursuit.
Qualifications/Requirements
At least 10 years of relevant construction experience in the heavy/civil construction industry.
Must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate in team environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Flexible to travel to projects and offices throughout the market.
