Full-Time Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in ERP implementation to lead the successful deployment and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with significant leadership in full-cycle ERP projects From planning and vendor selection to go-live and post-implementation support. Prior experience implementing Sage X3 or similar ERP platforms in manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

ERP-Focused Project Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related project activities, decisions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure ERP system integration meets operational and business requirements.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans specific to ERP implementations, outlining scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project performance, ensuring ERP milestones are met, and proactively manage scope, cost, and schedule variances.
• Apply project management best practices, with a focus on change control and ERP-specific risk mitigation.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional teams (including IT, operations, finance, and external consultants) involved in ERP system rollout.
• Clearly define team roles and responsibilities related to ERP tasks.
• Promote collaboration and clear communication across departments during ERP adoption.

Requirements & Process Mapping:

• Work closely with business users to gather and validate ERP system requirements.
• Translate operational processes into system requirements to drive ERP system configuration and customization.
• Ensure ERP functionality aligns with strategic goals, particularly in a manufacturing and food production context.

Vendor & Partner Management:

• Manage relationships with ERP software vendors, system integrators, and third-party consultants.
• Oversee contract negotiations and ensure vendor deliverables support project success.
• Evaluate ERP partner performance against key KPIs.

Change Management & Training:

• Develop ERP-specific change management strategies to drive user adoption and minimize disruption.
• Support training and onboarding of staff on new ERP processes and tools.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Provide transparent ERP project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of implementation steps, decisions, lessons learned, and optimization opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with demonstrated leadership in ERP implementation.
• Proven success implementing and customizing ERP systems, preferably Sage X3.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production environments is preferred.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex change initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent ERP or IT projects

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$81,144.33 – $120,000.20 per year
