OVERVIEW

: Hussey Seating Companys Solutions Development Coordinator provides support and coordination to the pre-sale processes for the successful completion of bids, quotes, and proposals of telescopic and fixed spectator seating projects. This includes professional sporting venues, convention and civic centers, as well as colleges and universities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail driven environment and can build customer relationships through the execution of quality solutions in a professional manner. The SD Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between outside direct sales and internal functional departments as well as external customers. DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Primary job responsibility is supporting the analysis of bid documents, costing product solutions, and preparing proposal documents. Work closely with Director of Project Development throughout the pre-bid process to ensure project scope is accurately developed and communicated internally and in customer proposals Develop installation and project management quotes for project bids Reviewing direct bid packages and disseminating information and tasks to other departments in preparation for bid submittal. Conducting project review meetings with internal customers to present the project scope and internal customer requirements and deadlines. Coordinating all internal processes (proposals, bid submittal packages, RFIs, costing worksheets/ pricing, samples). Maintaining direct project information and data within the Salesforce.com

COMPETENCIES

: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Good personal presentation skills and ability to work closely with other functional areas of the Company Outstanding communication skills with external and internal customers Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven projects concurrently. Good understanding of Hussey products and be knowledgeable with the construction bidding process. Must possess current product knowledge of competitive product solutions and offerings so that the correct Hussey products can be positioned for competitive bidding purposes Must understand architectural drawings and product specifications Must understand complex bid documents and identify critical project requirements Ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate in a deadline driven, fluid environment Strong ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships Competency with all HSC systems (Connects, IFS) Competency with Microsoft Office software Working knowledge or ability to learn to utilize Salesforce.com CRM CAD skills a plus.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

: 2+ year Technical/Construction Management degree Hussey experience a plus Strong mechanical aptitude Construction safety training preferred; will be required to become OSHA 10 certified. Travel may be required
