Our client is a company that specializes in Commercial Metal Stud Framing/Drywall Systems ranging from ground up construction to tenant finish. Salary range is $70k-$110k depending on experience. Multi-tasking Responsibilities Include:
This role will require a skilled commercial construction professional with experience in Metal Stud Framing, Structural Metal framing and Drywall systems. We have a long term, full time position for a detail oriented, reliable professional in a team-oriented firm.
- Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Read and understand architectural and structural documents, specifications, and contracts accurately.
- Provide direction and participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishing critical project objectives.
- Develop new and manage existing client relationships while interfacing with the client for proposal and project related items.
- Review, approve, and communicate internal and external reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports.
- Manage contract administration including Request for Information (RFI’s), submittals, change management, contract closeout, documentation, and claims mitigation.
- Direct the project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and recordkeeping/retention processes and procedures.
- Review construction field reports.
- Weekly coordination of manpower and material planning with superintendent, foreman, and other team members.
- Manage project start-up, ensuring proper materials and tools on hand.
Perform periodic job reviews on site.
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of hands-on project managing experience for structural metal framing, interior metal framing, drywall, insulation, drywall finish, ACT, door frames, doors, door hardware, casework, millwork, and other miscellaneous scopes of work.
- Estimating experience desired
- Ability to read shop drawings, architectural/structural drawings, and contract specs
- Positive and entrepreneurial attitude
