Salary:

Starting salary for a Senior Project Manager is $96,000. Starting salary is negotiable and will be based on experience, qualifications, and the value the candidate brings to the organization.

Senior Project Manager Job Functions:

project management methodologies and best practices to independently lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium to large-scale projects with moderate complexity.
Create and maintain key project documents and deliverables, including scope statements, detailed schedules, risk/issue logs, communications plans, and status reports.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and refine project requirements and success criteria.
Identify project risks and issues proactively; develop and implement mitigation or contingency plans to keep projects on track.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, manage task assignments, monitor progress, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders at all levels; prepare and deliver clear updates, presentations, and executive summaries.
Facilitate productive meetings by setting objectives, creating agendas, leading discussions, and ensuring follow-up on action items. Our ideal Senior Project Manager should have: A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or related field is preferred.
Eight years of information technology experience required with six years of experience in a project management role is preferred.
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (eg, Waterfall, Agile), and tools (eg, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SharePoint).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Professional project management certification such as PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) required.
