This position will be based out of Ozark, Missouri. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing asphalt plant and paving projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with project goals, scope, and budget. Monitor and document project schedules, budgets, material deliveries, and deadlines. Coordinate closely with contractors, suppliers, quarry contacts, and internal teams to gather data on plant site locations, haul rates, and material availability. Support asphalt material design tracking and mix quality compliance. Document decision-making processes and project milestones from internal and external meetings. Work with the back office to translate field data into readable reports for the operations manager. Prepare and maintain project documents such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and KPI summaries. Create and manage project calendars with key deliverables and milestones. Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld. Track and report on critical service and cost metrics, including: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Mix cost comparisons RAP and RAS crushing schedules and demand Support procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractor services as needed. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field – or equivalent experience preferred but not required Familiarity with asphalt plant operations, paving processes, and DOT mix specifications preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable reviewing financial documents, technical drawings, and site plans. Willingness to work in the field as needed to investigate discrepancies or verify progress. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
