QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting or related business degree. Master’s degree preferred At least 3 years of related experience Extensive verbal and written communication skills Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of technology Strong analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial modeling and ROI calculations and methodologies Knowledge of project management methodology and experience with defined project management approaches Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity Comprehensive knowledge of IT trends, methods and applications in order to support business process improvements Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints Exceptional problem solving skills
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform balanced insurance accounting operational entries Responsible for reviewing, completing and assisting with account reconciliations for insurance operations and associated journal entries. Responsible for understanding the operations portions of insurance including applications, claims and associated accounting. Implement project standards related to requirements documents, status reporting, project plan development and resource planning. Manage multiple projects. Advocate for business improvement by leveraging technology and improving the KCL architecture. Work with users and IT associates to identify key project goals and requirements. Direct and Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. Communicate and translate required business process capabilities and outcomes effectively between business process areas and IT. Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
