Job Title:
Chief Transformation OfficerJob Duties:
Define the overall engineering and manufacturing (Industrialization) strategy for activities such as machining, assembly, fabrication and processing. Execute the Industrialization, Engineering and Continuous Improvement strategies through all the assigned operating units. . Roll-out the strategic vision and ensure that activities, mission and goals are aligned. Develop and implement Industrialization standard work methods, to ensure efficient progress and to develop new or to enhance existing manufacturing processes (operational policy development and deployment). Execute multiple high impact initiatives to achieve corporate goals. Provide expertise to other departments, such as marketing, commercial, production, quality, finance as needed. Support development and roll-out the defined Executive Leadership Teams – Goal Deployment Plans (GDP) for all sites. Support, assist and review development of the site Deployment Plans. Develop ideas for product manufacturing enhancement and processes. Lead Industrialization staff to achieve timely completion of site/department projects and objectives to facilitate program rate readiness. Assist in the development and scope of assigned or initiated projects and tasks. Work with sites/departments to build appropriate project teams and technical responsibility for assigned tasks. Develop and report performance metrics related to schedule attainability for projects and initiatives. Responsible for the budget of the Industrialization and Continuous Improvement staff and functioning. Develop and execute the Business Unit Leaders engineering strategy and budget regarding new projects, technology insertion, site modernization and operational problem solving. Evaluate investment value, oversee implementation, and evaluate effectiveness of new manufacturing methods and equipment in collaboration with Chief Executive Officer. Facilitate Chief Executive Officer strategy and collaboration among operating units to promote consistency in work processes, efficient resource use, and maximum operational efficiencies. •Requires domestic and international travel 50% of the time.•Will superviseemployees.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Eight (8) years of experience.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
Aeronautics manufacturing plant management, modernization and improvement; knowledge and implementation of of AS9100 standards and compliance. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
