Position Description and Job Skill Set Description of the job functions the contractor will be expected to perform. The Mississippi Secretary of State s Office (MSOS) is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to oversee and coordinate two (2) consecutive projects: Project 47843: Business Services & Filing (Primary focus) Project 47844: Campaign Finance & Lobbying (Ancillary support) The PM will act as the primary liaison between MSOS personnel and third-party development teams, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and project execution. While Campaign Finance & Lobbying will be largely managed by the Division Head for Elections, the PM will provide project management support. The Business Services & Filings project will require the PM s primary focus, as it has the largest scope and complexity. Some key functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop, implement, and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables. Act as the central point of contact for internal MSOS teams and third-party vendors. Ensure clear communication of project goals, expectations, and deadlines. Track project progress and resolve issues that may impact timelines or deliverables. Coordinate project status meetings, reports, and documentation. 2
