Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description SAIC is seeking a Project Manager for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation ice-breakers and enhancing the Navy and Coast Guard’s polar mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands. This is an ONSITE role in Pascagoula, MS. Must be local to area. This position is contingent upon award news in Fall 2025 Relocation can be considered on a case by case basis.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the project management of level of effort (LOE) type task orders for the
USCG C5ISR
integration and support. Works closely with project stakeholders and Government customers on all project costs, schedules, and performance issues that impact customer or contract requirements. Assists in the coordination of technical efforts and provides authorization for all project related expenditures to include personnel labor, travel, ODCs, and material purchases. Manages fiscal year operational budgets using customer spend-plans, prime and subcontractor quotes, BOE’s, EACs, and internal financial reporting systems. Prepares project deliverables (CDRLs) and financial reports for internal and customer project reviews and develops action plans and briefs for project status meetings. Adheres to all corporate financial and accounting policies and Government regulations applicable to the contract.
Qualifications Required Requirements:
Bachelor’s and Three (8) years or more of related experience; master’s and one (6) years or more experience. Active Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Proficient at developing and managing financial budgets. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle. Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs (Excel and Cost point). Excellent communication. Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers.
Desired Skills:
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP). Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous project management experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard or Navy.
