Position Title Project Manager
Job Description Oversees capital projects, maintenance projects, and construction operations; provides oversite of contractors and vendors; collaborates with trades (carpentry, electrical, HVAC); coordinates assigned contracted services; works cohesively with external constituencies including architects, engineers, regulatory agencies etc. for project development and delivery; ensures adherence to University policies and procedures and project management standards; monitor project deliverables for compliance and project requirements; reviews projects status and provide risk assessment with regard to budget and schedule; promotes and enforce safe work practices; acts on behalf of the Director as needed and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Work experience in project management; public works, facilities maintenance and safety; ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships, proven planning and analyzing skills; ability to prioritize task; must have strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field. Physical Demands Posting Detail Information
