This position will be based in one of our Golden Triangle locations – Columbus, West Point, or Starkville, MS.. The successful candidate will have 8-plus years of experience in water main, gravity sewer system, booster station, and sewer lift station projects. You will be a part of an Engineering Team and will assist other teams as project and client demands dictate. We need someone who enjoys interacting with public officials and truly making a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi or the ability to obtain within 6 to 12 months, preferred.
8-plus years of experience with technical work and project management in the field of Water/Wastewater or Environmental.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and conceptualize.
The ability to produce technical reports and memorandums that are clear, concise, and accurate.
The ability to communicate effectively during day-to-day interactions with teaming partners, colleagues, and clients.
Experience with hydraulic computer models such as EPANET, Bentley WaterCAD or Autodesk InfoWater, preferred.
Experience with hydraulic design and computer modeling software preferred.
AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D), and ArcGIS is advantageous.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
