  • Position Summary
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) G-6 team at Fort Liberty, NC.

This position is critical in managing strategic IT initiatives with a strong emphasis on Change Management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between the Government and stakeholders, overseeing the execution of complex IT service delivery efforts in alignment with USASOC and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) policy and standards.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Lead and oversee IT Change Management projects, ensuring alignment with accreditation and inspection requirements (e.

g., DAIG). + Support the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) and Change Management (CM) processes using ITIL best practices. + Evaluate current and emerging technologies to inform lifecycle management decisions. + Draft and enforce change management policies, procedures, and documentation standards. + Interpret and apply life cycle, data automation, and telecommunications system design principles to enhance program efficiency. + Collaborate with Change Management Process Owners to address issues, share updates, and identify areas for improvement. + Serve as the primary point of contact for Government clients, ensuring ongoing communication and satisfaction. + Lead interdisciplinary teams, including contractors and technical specialists, to successfully deliver project outcomes. + Develop and manage project scope, schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. + Create, track, and maintain detailed project plans and documentation. + Manage project changes and report escalations to senior leadership as needed. + Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and briefings to stakeholders and leadership.

  • + Support various G-6 mission areas and adapt to evolving requirements.

+ Assist in developing and reviewing policy documentation and training materials. + Generate performance reports and data visualizations for leadership. + Monitor compliance with project timelines and flag potential issues. + Support program planning, including resource coordination and progress reporting. + Track open issues and follow up with responsible parties.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • + Active TS/SCI clearance. + 5-7 years of relevant project management experience. + Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of + At least 5 years supporting Department of Defense clients. + Proven experience in Change Management and process improvement. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
