VDC/BIM Coordinator Full Time Marietta, GA $60,000 – $80,000 Job Overview
A VDC/BIM
Coordinator is sought to support engineering and construction teams in leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related technologies throughout the project lifecycle. This position plays a key role in coordinating design efforts, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring model integrity. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Key Responsibilities Support project teams with BIM model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews. Ensure accuracy and consistency of 3D BIM models and 2D design documents. Promote and facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration during coordination efforts. Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM/VDC standards, templates, and training materials. Troubleshoot technical issues related to VDC/BIM software and systems. Participate in technology research, implementation, and software support activities. Demonstrate initiative in expanding technical skills and professional knowledge. (

Responsibilities may evolve based on project needs and organizational goals.) Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Familiarity with VDC/BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. Exposure to construction management platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus. Understanding of construction documents, project workflows, and design coordination concepts. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow within the AEC industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to support and collaborate across departments.
