Description

  • Work as part of Power Generation Engineering Team in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Assign roles and tasks for projects in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as needed.
  • Forecast team scheduling/loading for upcoming projects.
  • Perform new part creation/entry into Product Database Management (PDM) software and ERP system as well as Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Release design deliverables (Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Drawings) to shop.
  • Create Long Lead Time BOMs in ERP system for parts to be ordered by Purchasing.
  • Assist in creation of project documents including project charters, written specifications, official letters, etc.
  • Upload pertinent project deliverables to the ERP system.
  • Record meeting minutes for Technical Design Meetings (TDMs) and upload to ERP system; follow up on Action Items assigned.
  • Schedule meetings/conference calls for projects as directed by engineering team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a project administration or project coordination role
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP, IFS, JDE, Oracle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, Visio, Access, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Sound knowledge of project management, project accounting and controls, budget, and billing cycles
  • Project Management Institute PMP certification a plus but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship, now or anytime in the future Experience Level Entry Level
