Your Contribution:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that drive operational efficiencies, improve member experiences, and support organizational growth. This role focuses on managing business and technology-related projects, including process improvements, vendor implementations, and digital transformation initiatives, while fostering collaboration across credit union business units. The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities, business insight, technological experience, and the ability to coordinate with technical teams to deliver various projects and initiatives. As a vital member of the LCCU team, your responsibilities include the following: Lead the end-to-end management of projects aligned with strategic goals, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards are met. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, resource requirements, and risk management strategies. Support initiatives related to credit union technology systems rollouts, third-party vendor integrations, regulatory updates, and business optimization and process improvements. Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including technology system implementations, software deployments, business process optimization, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements. Bridge the gap between business and technical teams, collaborating with Business Integrations, IT, and cross-functional business teams to help define requirements, system architectures, and integration strategies. Translate business goals into actionable project plans, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain thorough project documentation and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership. Identify and help mitigate risks or delays, working proactively to remove roadblocks. Support the refinement of project governance standards and process improvement efforts. Ensure alignment with internal controls, credit union policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA). Build strong working relationships across departments and with third-party vendors to ensure project alignment. Perform other duties as assigned to support strategic objectives and organizational growth.

Requirements:

Here’s what you’ll need to bring along: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of project management experience across cross-functional teams (including technical and business initiatives). Foundational experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies. Familiarity with financial services, credit unions, or regulated environments is a plus. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications preferred. Experience managing vendor systems implementations, technology, operational changes, or system transformations preferred. Familiarity with complex IT ecosystems or enterprise-level systems is desirable. Background in navigating moderately to highly complex technical infrastructures preferred. Working knowledge and development of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet). Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting and keen attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and learn from our differences. Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends, depending on project needs.

Must be able to sit for extended periods, use the computer and telephone to complete work, and lift up to 30 pounds.
