DESCRIPTION
OF DUTIES & SCOPE
As an Assistant Electrical Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality results within scope, on time, and within budget.
Assisting in driving division profitability through effective project management.
Supporting project planning, scheduling, procurement, and contractual requirements.
Evaluating and enhancing departmental processes to meet customer needs and profitability goals.
Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, including direct reports.
Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project-specific methodologies.
Monitoring project schedules and adapting to changing priorities and customer requirements.
Engaging with clients to understand and fulfill their expectations.
Overseeing third-party construction firms when required.
Participating in the project review process, particularly in financial forecasting.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Electrical Project Manager role should possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction.
Field experience in coordination with construction management.
Proficiency in project scheduling, estimating, change orders, and contracts.
