We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our siteworks construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with coordinating and managing various site development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to handle the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing subcontracts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the overall management and coordination of siteworks construction projects, ensuring they are executed according to plan, schedule, and budget Work closely with the Project Manager to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals Track project progress and report on any issues or delays that may affect the timeline or budget Coordinate and manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, and subcontractor scheduling Assist with the management of subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to specifications Ensure that all safety regulations and company policies are followed on-site Help with the preparation and management of project budgets, including tracking costs and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards Communicate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide project updates Assist with the management of project documentation, including permits, insurance, and other regulatory requirements Contribute to the preparation of project reports, including progress reports, budget updates, and timelines for senior management and clients Provide general administrative support to the Project Manager as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction, preferably in siteworks or civil construction Strong understanding of site development, including grading, drainage, utilities, and road construction Knowledge of construction contracts, project management software, and construction documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with project management software such as HCSS or similar is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe job site Ability to analyze project data and make informed decisions to keep projects on track Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions Must be able to perform site inspections and walk on construction sites regularly Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 30 pounds as needed Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during site visits
