Responsibilities
Brasfield & Grie has an exciting opptunity f an Assistant Project Manager to join our Charlotte team. Wk location may be in Charlotte on projects in various locations based out of the Carolinas.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Solicit, review, and scope subcontract and vend bids, quotes, and related contract specification sections
Administer subcontracts f area of responsibility (payments, insurance, bond, safety, haz, etc.)
Review and understand contract documents (plan and specifications)
Assist with project start up, including obtaining permits and licenses and managing jobsite mobilization
Lead responsibility f project document management and project controls
Assist in development, planning, and updating of overall project schedule
Assist in development of project quality control plan implementation andpliance with contract requirements
Lead subcontract start up meetings
Manageplete submittal process, including the following: obtain submittals; review submittals fpliance with contract documents; upon approval, manage submittal and procurement with subcontracts/vends; track submittals with procurement schedule; developplete submittal log
Manage a ption of project scope, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and/ electrical
Lead and facilitate project codination meetings (MEP, skin, site utility/logistics, phasing plan, etc)
Create and manage tracking logs, including concrete, rebar, and stone
Meet with authities having jurisdiction (AHJ’s) to understand inspection andpliance requirements
Enter and update infmation in project management software (job status repts, projections, change ders, and RFI’s)
Mange LEED requirements,pliance, and documentation when applicable
Resolve daily problems and expedite materials in conjunction with field supervision
Suppt the project manager and project team with budgeting/actualmitted rept/lab rept
Provide accurate cost projections f area of responsibility
Review and code invoices with project actualmitted rept
Manage punch list and wk with subcontracts to execute the punch list in accdance with project schedule
Manage project closeout (closeout documents, final job rept, and final accounting)

Bachel degree in construction, engineering, related field
