The Cabinet Project Manager supports residential cabinet installations for our customers in the assigned territory. The Cabinet Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure the entire installation is a best-in-class, highly service-centric experience for the customer. The Cabinet Project Manager is responsible for initial consultation with the customer, capturing detailed measurements, and creating seamless experience for the customer from the beginning to the end of the project.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for performing initial consultations with the customers at their residence; this includes discussing their vision, capturing detailed measurements and providing clear expectations and answering questions from the customer. Collaborate with the design team to ensure the end design is consistent with the measurements, layout and vision the customer is looking to achieve. Provide oversight and support to the customer and act as a key liaison between the customer, designer, scheduling coordinator and installation teams. Inspect the product when it arrives at the customer’s home. This includes unboxing the shipped cabinets and parts, examining each for manufacturer flaws and imperfections, and producing reports of any needed part re-orders. Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the measurement and installation cycle, provide support via phone, text and in-person visits and ensure the customer is updated and prepared for key project milestones during the full cycle of the project. Perform final walk-throughs at the customer’s home to ensure the project is complete and exceeds the customer’s expectations. The role will be responsible for daily, local travel to customer sites in assigned territory. A company vehicle is provided. Estimated day travel is 75+ percent. Criteria for Consideration At least 2 years of experience with designs, labor estimates, and conducting design reviews is preferred. Extreme organizational skills and time management skills are required. Highly customer-centric attitude, outlook and behavior are required. Proficiency with database navigation and Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel is required Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record via a DMV record check Ability to pass national criminal background check and legally able to work in the US without sponsorship.
Physical Demands:
Requires minimum of eight hours standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements. May requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. May occasionally require work in an environment requiring use of ladder, stairs, heights, platforms, attics, crawl spaces and climbing in and out of vehicles Strong knowledge of standard computer systems and ability to adapt to new software.
