Project Manager Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is primarily based in Huntersville, NC with an option for some remote work. The successful candidate will take on a crucial role between R& D and Procurement, managing the sourcing and supply of significant quantities of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the process of sourcing and procuring equipment.
• Collaborate with the R& D team to understand and meet their equipment needs.
• Ensure all aspects of the procurement process are efficiently managed.
• Take on light sourcing work when necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Utilize project management skills to keep the procurement process on track.
• Apply knowledge of supply chain management to streamline procurement.
• Use procurement and manufacturing experience to add value to the process.
• Assist the R& D team in coordinating the procurement of equipment for the research lab. Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of detail oriented experience in project management
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Extensive knowledge and experience in supply chain management
• Proficiency in procurement procedures and strategies
• Familiarity with production equipment operations and maintenance
• Experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams towards project completion
