Role:

We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable team member who’s excited to help build a startup from the ground up while also providing steady support to an established business line. As Special Projects Coordinator , you will primarily focus on helping launch and grow The Black Therapy Network (BTN) —an online therapy platform dedicated to providing culturally competent care for the Black community. This role will put you at the center of building systems, onboarding providers, recruiting clients, troubleshooting issues, and managing day-to-day operations as we expand the platform. In addition, you’ll support administrative operations for our existing bail bond business , including filing documents, tracking client check-ins, and managing compliance paperwork . This role is perfect for someone who thrives on juggling multiple projects, loves creating order out of chaos, and wants to grow into a leadership role as the company scales .

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Focus:

The Black Therapy Network (BTN) – Startup Development Develop and document onboarding processes for therapists and clients joining the platform Manage provider credentialing and documentation tracking to ensure compliance Coordinate day-to-day operations —monitor client intake, address user issues, flag technical problems Collaborate with leadership to brainstorm, plan, and implement new platform features and improvements Create workflows, guides, and operational tools to streamline backend processes Track therapist recruitment efforts and help problem-solve bottlenecks in onboarding Monitor platform usage and generate reports to support leadership decisions Support marketing and outreach initiatives to help grow the client and provider base Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improving the platform experience

Secondary Focus:

Bail Bond Administrative Support File court-related documents and ensure accurate recordkeeping Track defendant check-ins, court appearances, and compliance deadlines Maintain organized paper and electronic records for agency compliance Assist leadership with documentation audits and licensing-related paperwork

General & Cross-Department Support:

Be willing to assist with other administrative or project-based tasks as company needs evolve Support leadership with special projects across multiple business functions (including potential unrelated assignments) Help develop and refine policies, procedures, and systems as businesses grow
