This is a part-time, contractor role for 12 weeks, 20 hours per week.
Position Overview:
JSI is launching a key strategic initiative— JSInform —to standardize and elevate project management practices across the organization. We are seeking an experienced contractor to develop high-impact training content that supports the successful rollout of this initiative. This role will be instrumental in creating professional, engaging, and practical training materials for project managers, functional leaders, and project delivery resources. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders (PMO leadership, project sponsors, subject matter experts) to define training needs. Design and develop training content aligned with the Smart & Rigorous PM framework, including: Slide decks eLearning modules Instructor guides Job aids and checklists Case studies and exercises Translate project methodology and process documentation into digestible learning modules. Ensure training materials are aligned with professional learning principles and suitable for hybrid delivery (live virtual and on-demand). Incorporate project lifecycle concepts such as scoping, governance, risk management, and status reporting using elements of the framework into training deliverables. Create an initiative introduction module that emphasizes the value of project management, client communication, and expectation setting/management with clients and other project stakeholders. Work within existing brand and document templates; propose enhancements where applicable. Revise content based on stakeholder feedback and facilitate testing/pilot sessions as needed.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Proven experience developing training content for corporate project management or professional services environments. Strong instructional design and adult learning methodology knowledge. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and at least one eLearning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Rise). Ability to distill complex project management concepts into clear, actionable, and motivating training materials. Excellent writing, editing, and layout skills with attention to clarity and engagement. Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and working autonomously on tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 + Years of experience in training, development, and project management. Familiarity with telecom or consulting services project environments. PMP or other project management certification.
