We serve major industrial, food, and pharmaceutical facilities across the Southeast, delivering high-quality, safety-focused fabrication, millwright, welding, and project services. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Draftsman & Assistant Project Manager . This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited industry experience who have a background in AutoCAD, drafting software, or engineering design. In this dual-role position, you will support our project managers by assisting in project coordination and producing basic industrial drawings for platforms, piping, equipment layouts, and other structural and mechanical components. Key Responsibilities Create simple 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting tools Assist project managers in organizing job files, material take-offs, and field documentation Help translate field sketches or verbal notes into clean, fabrication-ready drawings Attend job site visits for measurements and progress tracking Coordinate with shop personnel to ensure accuracy of designs and field modifications Participate in client and internal meetings to assist with project planning and scheduling Support procurement and vendor coordination for small-scope projects

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Construction Management, or a related field Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting/design software (SolidWorks, Revit, etc. is a plus) Basic understanding of industrial or mechanical design principles Strong communication and organization skills Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a fast-paced team A hands-on attitude and comfort in both office and field environments Valid driver’s license
