Project Manager The Logical Balance, LLC Randleman, NC 27317 • Hybrid work Our client is a leading commercial HVAC contracting company delivering high-quality mechanical solutions across small to multi-million-dollar projects. Our work is rooted in safety, integrity, client satisfaction, and technical excellence. We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our team and help drive success in the field and beyond. This role reports to Service Manager. Job Summary As a Project Manager , you will plan, coordinate, and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure HVAC projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously and be ready to perform hands-on installation support when needed. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of commercial HVAC projects from pre-planning to completion. 70% in field and 30% in office 6 direct reports Schedule and coordinate labor, materials, tools, and subcontractors. Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract documents. Maintain project budgets, schedules, and profitability. Identify and document changes to project scope; manage change orders. Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and management. Provide on-site leadership and hands-on support when needed. Ensure customer satisfaction through project execution and final job sign-offs. Assist with project documentation, billing, and closeout processes. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management or commercial mechanical contracting in HVAC industry, knowledge of boilers and chillers a plus. Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, installation methods, and workflow and heavily focused on quality Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals. Proficient in project scheduling and cost control. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-on installation experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. EPA Certification HVAC certifications helpful OSHA 30 certification preferred.
