Arrowood is looking for someone with good computer skills , willingness to do Day Travel , preferably some carpentry skills and a “Can Do” attitude . Additional skills that would be helpful include exceptional communication skills, very good at organizing & planning and an excellent work ethic. If this is you, we will train you. This job demands that you be responsive to your customers and be able to manage cabinet installers on commercial construction sites throughout North and South Carolina. This position requires Day Travel, you will be home at night. We cover all travel expenses. This position is ideal for someone with people and computer skills and an interest in construction and/or woodworking that would like to work towards a management position and a larger paycheck. In this position, you will learn about commercial construction, architectural millwork, casework and how our products fit into the construction of schools, hospitals, office buildings and government facilities. You will learn to oversee all aspects of project planning and implementation from hand off to completion. Coordinate drawing deadlines with engineering and ship dates with the production manager to meet or exceed project deadlines. You will also oversee and manage the installers on your projects. Arrowood Designs is a rapidly growing commercial cabinet and millwork company, located 45 miles east of Charlotte, NC in Norwood, NC. We primarily work as a sub contractor for large commercial construction companies in the Mid Atlantic and Southeastern US.
Requirements:

- Woodworking and Carpentry Skills are a plus Responsibilities(what you will learn):
- Read blue prints
- Review project contracts and verify Scope of Work
- Monitor budgeted project costs from project hand off to completion
- Develop, communicate and monitor project schedules including deliveries.
- Material procurement
- How the commercial construction industry works
