Job Description

Assistant Project Manager, EPC Substations (US) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27616 A Snapshot of Your Day We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist with GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) and AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) projects as part of our execution team. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, engineering, finance, procurement and construction teams to ensure projects are completed following the business strategy. They will further assist project management leads with reporting and tools requirements. How You’ll Make an Impact Collaborate with the sales team to meet customers, understand expectations, terms, conditions, and project requirements. Work daily with project managers and leads to implement project goals. Assist in project activities including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, change management, opportunities, NCCs, forecasting, correspondences, and reporting. Review project implementation and gather execution data. Update the lessons learned log actively. Participate in customer and supplier meetings, drafting minutes, and manage deliverables with cross-functional teams under the project manager’s leadership. What You Bring Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant required. 3 or more years of experience in energy segment or substations preferred. Experience in process improvement, contract management and document & quality management preferred. Must possess strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and customer-facing skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively. Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details. Expert-level experience with computer operating systems and tools as business needs. Ability to travel as needed, could meet or exceed 30%.
