Electrical Project Manager Moonlite Electric & Construction, Inc. Cary, NC 27511 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of the electrical construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate the work of subcontractors. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of plans. Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee that work meets industry standards and client expectations. Utilize construction management software for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting. Directing, assisting, and/or advising other on-site supervision as needed, by providing a high level of experience, expertise, and being a well-rounded supporting role. Maintaining the project schedule and ensuring milestones are met, by assisting the Site Supervision in monitoring and organizing manpower needs. Direct the scheduling and coordinating the delivery/pick-up of materials, tools, and equipment for all projects. Ensuring code compliance and specification requirements are met through regular site walk-throughs. Provide an additional layer of quality control for the assigned project and ensure that a high level of quality is maintained. Develop team-building strategies and arrange staff as necessary to allow for professional development of all field employees assigned to the project. Being a liaison between the Operations Manager and field staff, ensuring continuity of information. Making sure the required documentation is completed in the office, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, safety sheets, timesheets, etc. Mitigating risk by looking for possible future problems and adjusting accordingly. Attend subcontractor meetings as needed. Attend financial meetings as needed. Other responsibilities and duties as necessary. Skills Proficient in project management, to include the monthly billing, RFI, submittal, and change order processes. Strong leadership and team building skills. Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry. Experience with ProCore, ProjectSight, SharePoint, & other construction software for document management and collaboration. Ability to read and understand schematics related to various construction projects. Proven experience in construction management with a focus on efficiency and safety.
