Project Coordinator Analyst Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Description Participate in our IT’s number 1 priority project

• we are rebuilding over 1K in servers with new standards Contractor is responsible for the following: Setting up assessment meetings with the Server Service Owner and the Server Rebuild team to go through a checklist of questions and artifacts required to make decisions on the rebuild and approach.

Assist in scheduling of the change in production for the server rebuild (most of these will be off hours and wknds for the change) Must be present on the call during the change and help escalate if resources are not in attendance. Attend all wkly and daily meetings on server rebuild stand up calls Follow the change management policy and process documented in ServiceNow Meet aggressive deadlines and ability to work independently Responsible to manage at least 2

• 3 changes per wk for a set of servers Skills ServiceNow experience ( beginner to intermediate) Technical experience with Wintel and Linux server support Ability to facilitate and coordinate complex work with multiple teams Attention to detail and detailed planning Working hours Flex the 40 hr wk based on change schedule
• can require night and weekend support at times Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems and applications.

Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business, systems, or application issues. She is need of four contractors supporting her company’s #1 project called Server Rebuilds. They have 1000 servers they need to rebuild after already completing 1500. Her team is called Squad Leads

• setting up assessment meeting, pulling in the server rebuild team and are basically reading off a script ensuring everyone is delivering their tasks.

They have to be present on the change calls which happens during the weekends mostly. She expects 2-3 changes per week per person, but no more than 3 per week each person is responsible for. They have aggressive deadlines and need to be able to work independently. There needs to be some experience with ServiceNow

• can be beginner . Technical experience is beneficial
• basic language but don’t need development skills. Need to coordinate complex work. They might have several teams that come together. They’ll submit 40 hours per week which is flexed
• if she works 5 hours last evening she might only put 3 hours today to get to her 8 for Friday.

There should be at least one weekend worked per month, up to two. They will know change schedules in advance to be able to plan their lives. She’s looking for at least 3-5 years of experience. But depending on the experience, she could consider less than 3. She definitely wants experience in managing projects

• not PM tasks
• but managing and being responsible for high profile type of work. They are working independently and have to understand sense of urgency. ServiceNow is a must
• she is not going to train on ServiceNow. Linux is lower on her list
• but as long as someone can get stuff done and be able to deliver on time is important.

It’s a plus if someone has Wintel or Linux server support, that would be them ahead of the curve. She is expecting this need to last 3-6 months. Dawn has another project on her heels that this people could be good for, mentioning that in answering whether or not this can get extended. She has a dropdead date of July 17th to have these complete. She has to ramp up resources in order to deliver on time. They will not be writing up remediation plans. Processes are already defined.
