  • We are seeking an experienced, career-driven Heavy Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Candidates must have experience managing heavy highway construction projects, demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and develop civil construction projects in alignment with project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Manage project budgets to meet required margins, provide accurate cost and revenue projections, and address budget variances to ensure profitability.
  • Create and regularly update project schedules with realistic timelines for future tasks.
  • Oversee project quality control, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client contracts, and specifications.
  • Enforce adherence to company and site safety policies, including Incident and Injury Free protocols, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and correspondence, and prepare analytical reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with field management to resolve discrepancies between project plans and site execution.
  • Approve equipment or personnel changes and requisitions submitted by superintendents.
  • Escalate issues to upper management when necessary and communicate effectively.
  • Organize and assign project staff based on project needs, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities for the team.
  • Conduct weekly project team meetings to review scheduling and costs.
  • Provide ongoing financial projections of project performance and submit timely payment requisitions.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of contract terms, specifications, project schedules, milestones, and reasons for delays.
  • Oversee issuance and performance management of subcontracts and supplier purchase orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
