Our firm has been engaged by Stellar Blu Construction to conduct a search for an experienced Project Manager proficient in luxury home construction. Founded in 2006, Stellar Blu Construction is a Raleigh-based luxury custom homebuilder that is committed to building quality homes and continuously providing outstanding customer service throughout construction and beyond. Reporting to the company owner, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple ground-up custom home construction projects in the Raleigh area to ensure high quality homes are delivered along with an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee all phases of custom home construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring on-time completion within budget and quality standards. Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including subcontractors and City Inspectors, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout the project. Ensure all work complies with building codes, zoning regulations, and high-end construction standards. Monitor project costs, track expenses and generally ensure fiscally responsible project management in line with an owner’s mindset. Conduct daily site visits to oversee progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain superior craftsmanship. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Address and resolve any construction challenges, client concerns, or design modifications promptly. Manage photo documentation of each project through the appropriate software channel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in the field. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing residential construction projects. Strong knowledge of luxury home construction techniques, materials, and design standards. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships effectively. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively. Knowledge across all trades preferred. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or CoConstruct). Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential quality issues proactively. Skilled in anticipating project challenges and implementing preventative measures. Demonstrated ability and willingness to respond promptly to urgent jobsite issues. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude along with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty if the situation calls for it.
