Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee all phases of projects from inception through completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will act as the primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support all phases of projects from inception through completion, acting as the primary contact for project activities. Lead project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and testing. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying project problems and obtaining solutions, such as resource allocation or changing contractual specifications. Liaise with business functions to understand ongoing needs and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Act as an advisor to the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in project management, often within the oil and gas or energy industry, with a focus on Natural Gas Pipeline, compression, and LNG Peak Shaving facility projects. Significant experience in understanding engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes, with relevant technical experience in LNG projects, transmission, and distribution pipelines highly desired. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage cross-functional collaboration, and build strong relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management. Typically holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications like PMP are often preferred. Familiarity with LNG project lifecycle, regulatory requirements, and project management tools and systems.
