WEBSITE & APP PROJECT MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY

Pace is looking for an experienced Website & App Project Manager to join our passionate team and help lead efforts for a key client. As a dedicated resource on this important engagement, this role is responsible for leading the digital strategy, performance, and coordination of an active customer-facing website and two mobile applications (iOS and Android). The resource will act as the main strategic and technical liaison between the account management, UX, and development teams. Position requirements include experience managing a content management system (e.g. WordPress), maintaining mobile application marketplace listings, and a strong knowledge of analytics and SEO best practices. A successful candidate has experience in developing detailed technical requirements and the ability to create project plans guided by Agile milestones for deployment of website and mobile app updates. This position requires regular client contact through calls, presentations and onsite meetings along with exceptional internal collaboration across agency service delivery teams. You must be based in the Raleigh-Durham area and be available to work onsite at the client’s headquarters. This position is located in Raleigh, NC, with an expectation to work onsite at the client’s office 4-5 days per week. The anticipated start date is early September.

The salary for this position will range from $65,000 – 100,000 depending on experience, education, geographical location, commute and other factors. FUNCTIONS

Management and maintenance of the website including the regular posting of content and the deployment of emergency updates. Coordination with UI/UX team to identify ongoing improvements to both the website and the iOS and Android apps. Provide strategic feedback on wireframes and mockups Collaboration with Development, Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams to define and implement improvements to both the website and mobile applications. Management of technical vendors to ensure website and mobile app functionality. Management of listings in the App Store and Google Play and owner of strategies to increase website usage and mobile app adoption. Development and presentation of digital performance reports (SEO, traffic, app engagement, etc.) using industry-standard evaluation metrics Monitoring of changes to project timelines and/or project scopes Set and communicate deadlines for individual tasks, assign tickets, shepherd progress, and summarize and communicate status for client and team members Prioritize maintenance tasks such as bugs, enhancement requests, and required technology updates Write effective requirement docs and tickets for technical and creative teams Ownership of JIRA projects including oversight of work through the development lifecycle (analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in project management, Marketing, Communications or related field PMP or SCRUM Master certifications a plus

Experience:

3+ years of experience in technical website & mobile application management Extensive experience using content management systems (CMS) Experience managing Jira projects using an Agile process Experience with Workfront for Project Management a plus

Skills:

Ability to travel to client headquarters in Raleigh-Durham area as needed Solid comprehension of software development lifecycle Strong hands-on experience with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, Contentful, etc. Proficiency in JIRA, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows Solid understanding of web technologies, browser behavior, and mobile responsiveness Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO best practices Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play Console processes (listing, compliance, updates) Ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable, technical deliverables Skilled at aligning goals between technical teams, vendors, and non-technical clients Effective at handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and efficiently; superior multi-tasking skills Client experience across both big and small engagements Ability to lead and direct the work of team members Organized and detail oriented Enthusiasm for delivering superior customer service Excellent writing, grammar, proofing, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
