Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for managing thesuccessful execution of projects for the delivery ofelectro-mechanical systems, meeting project requirements within thecontracted schedule and budget constraints Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage projects consistent withOceaneering values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality,and business ethics.
- Apply knowledge of project managementcompetencies to manage the core elements of a project’sintegration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources,communications, risks, procurement and stakeholders in order tomeet project requirements, demonstrating proficiency in both theknowledge and application of these skills.
- Apply knowledge ofpersonal competencies of communication, leadership, management,cognitive abilities, effectiveness, and professionalism to lead theproject team in meeting the project objectives, demonstratingproficiency in both the knowledge and application of these skills.
- Lead a diverse team of engineers (electrical, mechanical, systems,software), drafters, designers, technicians, machinists,consultants, administrative and other personnel, and assigns tasksas guided by the project plan, setting, and communicating clearexpectations.
- Autonomously facilitate and operationalize projectsto achieve established departmental and organizational goals, whileconsidering all appropriate stakeholders.
- Independentlystandardize processes, communications, and tracking methods for usein ongoing project planning, sustainability, and improvement.
Creates structure from ambiguous and numerous sources ofinformation.
- Develop and lead in project management planningincluding but not limited to: scope identification, budgetplanning, resource planning, and fiscal accountability, and ongoingcommunication and collaboration with team members. Independentlyprepares written documents, delegates tasks as necessary, andmonitors and analyzes progress.
- Recommend sequences for actions,procurement and purchases and coordinates necessary meetings toensure the timely delivery of products and services.
Facilitatework across project teams, develop a project schedule, leadmeetings to track progress, manages and mitigates project risks,troubleshoots problems as they arise, and directly manages assignedcomponent projects and develop solutions to barriers and challengesto success in order to deliver projects on time, within budget andscope, and with a keen focus on effective and consistentcommunication.
- Interface and collaborate with key stakeholdersthroughout the development, planning and execution of projects.
Autonomously assess the need for disseminating and retrievingpertinent information and communicate with all organizationallevels as necessary.
- Compile and synthesize complex data, analyzeoutcomes, and prepare reports for ongoing process and outcomereview for senior management.
Responsible for the research and datacompilation from a variety of internal and external resources toprovide support for research, proposals, reporting, recognition,and regulatory compliance. Reports include but are not limited tographical representations of data, oral presentations, writtenreports, and visual presentations.
- Ensure that team members meetdeadlines, and task budgets.
- Support the company’s objective ofcontinuous improvement by reviewing, incorporating, andcontributing to lessons learned, and suggesting changes to processand procedure in order to improve the quality, efficiency andeffectiveness of project execution.

- Bachelor’s degree, with a major in an Engineeringdiscipline preferred.
- Minimum 4-7 years of relevant workexperience.
PMP/CAPM
Certification or achieved within 3 years.
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
- Technical writingand editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability tointeract with customer representatives.
- Ability to supporttechnical reviews of various documentation and other projectdeliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and workindependently.
- Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Officeproducts.
- Knowledge of
P6, EVMS, MS
