Location of Position Williamson Translational Building Advertisement Text Position Purpose To support the launching of a new feasibility study in the Department of Epidemiology. In collaboration with project leaders, the Research Project Coordinator will coordinate the implementation and ongoing activities of a feasibility study to identify and test recruitment strategies to improve representation of rural populations and populations disconnected from health care in an intervention to reduce arsenic exposure. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of research methodology, protocols, and data collection methods.
- Ability to implement research and data collection protocols.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills permitting effective recruitment and interaction with participants; medical, administrative, and laboratory staff at study sites; and other study personnel.
- Strong organizational skills, an ability to work independently and take initiative, balance competing demands, schedule and plan efficiently, coordinate effectively with participating clinical staff, meet participant recruitment goals, and coordinate with other study personnel.
- Ability to work well as a team member and to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Proficiency and skill with computer databases and software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proficiency and skill with REDcap or willingness to be trained.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, research methods, and protocols and/or willingness to be trained.
- Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
- Knowledge of regulations related to the protection of human subjects, informed consent, and working with human specimens.
- Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
