Environmental Project Manager 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 95 N State St, Concord, NH 03301 Meridian Land Services is a multidisciplinary land-use and development design consulting firm. We offer land surveying, permitting, design, and consulting to a broad range of client sectors. This position will primarily operate out of the environmental department and conduct/direct all activities associated with environmental permitting and civil design consulting. This position would operate primarily out of our Concord office. A successful candidate has a background in environmental engineering, wildlife biology, environmental science, or equal. And has 5+ years in the industry. Position will be responsible for the direction of technicians and other design professionals in the design, preparation, and processing of town, state, and federal environmental permits for land development adjacent to environmentally sensitive areas. Projects may include design/permitting of residential development including wastewater design, waterfront development, wetland/Shoreland restoration, and rare species/habitat studies. The position’s primary responsibilities will include: Interpreting and understanding State, Local, and Federal regulations to guide successful projects from their conception. Develop scopes of services and timelines for project execution and submissions Conduct fieldwork as necessary for plan development Aid and/or instruct technicians on appropriate civil/environmental design. Conduct plan review and prepare corresponding reports/narratives Development of exhibits or reports for rare species/habitats and restoration monitoring Maintain communication with clients, colleagues, employees, and review agencies throughout a projects duration Desired qualities include: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Experience in navigating and interpreting town, state, and federal environmental regulations Critical and complex thinking Ability to multitask, organize, and maintain records of pending projects and approved permits Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficiency in/or experience with AutoCAD Understanding of erosion control/site stabilization practices NH CWS or CSS preferred NH Subsurface Designer preferred
