Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects within the portfolio. Manage project collaborators to ensure alignment and happiness.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for portfolio and project management activities.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to supervise and track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the detailed execution of projects.
- Handle changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and raise to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and handle relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation. Required Qualifications Possess strong experience in Project Collaborator Management.
- Have extensive knowledge in Portfolio & Project Management (PPM).
- Demonstrate expertise in Project Planning and CE-Project Management.
- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a nice to have.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
- Display proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Hold a relevant certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for the position is between $104,850- $166,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
