Job Description
Sample Coordinator 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Greenland, NH 03840 The Sample Coordinator position requires an organized, self-motivated and dependable individual to process, store and distribute brand samples in a timely and accurate manner across Cole Haan Teams and brand partners. The position requires communication with other Cole Haan departments and offices, including but not limited to the Sales team and executives, Photo Studio, and Product Development teams. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage sample requests, ship & receive samples in our distribution center, and identify discrepancies during the process.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for shipping/ receiving all sales team samples for the season and keeping sample stock area organized within the distribution center. Responsible for maintaining Confirmation Sample Library and pulling samples for refference for various functional teams Manage sample returns from field teams Be responsible for unpacking, checking-in, and packing sample orders for various teams, brand partners, and sales executives on a daily basis in the Cole Haan distribution center Update appropriate parties when samples are received, checked-in and shipped Maintain knowledge of road lot samples within storage area and what has been shipped using our current organization system Order and invoice special samples through vendors in partnership with Cole Haan team requests Manage sample status; active versus dropped road lot samples using our sample management system Field and manage requests for samples from business partners; oversee check in/check out process of road lot samples Work with brand portals to manage sample requests from varying brand partners Keep and maintain tracking records of shipped samples
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in related field preferred 1+ years of related work experience, previous footwear or shipping & receiving experience strongly preferred Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel experience required Flex PLM experience preferred Strong organizational skills Team player & not afraid to ask questions Ability to navigate competing requests or challenges and resolve in partnership with GTM Operations Director Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of Footwear development process preferred Experience in working and communicating with Asia/International based offices Demonstrated communication skills Collaborative and team player Strong desire to learn & grow within role PLM Experience a plus Must be able to lift boxes up to 30lbs and carry shoes amongst buildings/distribution center While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to walk, sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and kneel
