This Project Coordinator role will work together with a Project Lead on the design side to help manage typical project management tasks.

Note:

Please consider before applying if you are overqualified for this junior level position. We are also looking for a candidate who can reasonably commute to the office in Fairfield, NJ at least twice per week. Responsibilities Create and manage project schedules and budgets from initiation phase to closeout phase Identify and track action items, deliverables, and key milestones for client and internal projects Collaborate with Project Leads to ensure project scope is clearly defined and documented in a project proposal Document and implement AMS standard project management processes for other employees Procure purchase orders from clients and track the status of client invoices and payments Communicate project status, budget, issues and risks to client decision makers/stakeholders and AMS leadership Develop and analyze course of action (COA) plans with AMS consultants and present solutions to client stakeholders Track project burn rates and identify potential budget risks Document meeting agendas and notes for client and internal status meetings Skills Project Management software, such as MS Project or something similar Understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) MS Office Suite (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word) Effective and proactive communicative skills Task and goal-oriented individual with great attention to detail and ability to multitask Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent Preferred 1+ years Project Management Experience Preferred Familiarity with software development projects Position Details – Full-time – 40 hours/week Salary based position Flexible work from home options available.
