Project Implementation Manager Job Summary:

Talent SoftwareServices is in search of a Project Implementation Manager for acontract position in Phillipsburg, NJ. The opportunity will be sixmonths with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

PositionSummary:

The Project Implementation Manager works closely withmembers of the Corporate and Site Quality teams as well asmanufacturing, technical, engineering and commercial functions asrequired. The Project Implementation Manager is accountable for aportfolio of projects in support of Avantor’s growth initiativesand continuous improvement activities. Projects can involve newproduction or testing capacity, product transfers, customerqualification & support, internal process improvements andcompliance related programs. Project Implementation Manager areresponsible for coordinating internal resources and/o thirdparties/vendors for the development, planning and execution ofprojects in their portfolio – on time, within scope, within budgetand to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such ascGMPs, ICHQ7, IPEC guidelines, ISO regulations as well as FDArequirements.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Collaborating with stakeholders both internally and externa lly todev elop and plan project scopes and objectives. Develop a detailedplan to track progress, monitor progress and ensure successfulproject delivery. Measure project performance using appropriatesystems, tools, and techniques and enter all project-relatedinformation into product development software tracking tool.

Effectively communicate relevant project challenges or roadblocksto senior management through proper issue escalation Schedule,organize and lead team meetings to assess progress againstfunctional task list and timelines. Identify, prioritize, andmitigate project risks. Ensure the effective preparation anddelivery of all project events and meetings; ensures production ofall necessary documentation within each phase. Assist teams priorto tollgate/milestone meetings to ensure readiness to proceed tonext stage of a project. Participate and/or lead tollgate/milestonemeetings designed to assess progress and readiness to proceed tothe next stage of a project. Lead root cause/countermeasure processto mitigate any scope/quality/timing/budget issues and ensureprojects remain on track. Performs other duties as assigned with orwithout accommodation.

Qualifications:

Experience managing projectsand programs to conclusion; Project Management training requiredwith certifications a plus. Experience in Quality, RegulatoryAffairs, or IT systems developing and managing programs associatedwith such. Bachelor’s degree with an advanced degree a plus.

Minimum of 5 years in regulated industry or related role within thechemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology Strong background inregulated environment including GMP regulations, ISO9000 and/orregulatory affairs. Background and knowledge of systems andsoftware applications Demonstrated ability to accomplish goalsthrough others. Demonstrated familiarity with numerous regulationsincluding cGMPs, ISO, Import/Export, FDA requirements such as210/211 Part 11 and regulatory needs. Highly detail oriented withdemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Excellent verbal and written communications skills including theability to communicate at all levels within the organizationAbility to navigate in a matrixed environment and workcollaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degreein business, Project Management, Scientific or Engineeringdiscipline or a related field required Minimum of five (5) years ofexperience in project management role required, preferably in theLife Science field focused on Quality and regulated industrycompliance. Experience with gated project/program management.

Demonstrated experience handling multiple projects and tasks whileproducing timely and high-quality deliverables.

Preferred:

Excellent prioritization, organization and project management andtask management skills Proven analytical/problem solving skills;ability to analyze and effectively communicate analysisrecommendations. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projectsand manage deadlines with demonstrated drive for results Strongmanagement capability; able to plan and adjust team resourcesdynamically across the lifecycle of the project. Stronginterpersonal and people management skills to ensure effectiveteaming/collaboration across the project team. Ability to lead andmotivate personnel and cultivate a team mentality. Ability tointeract and obtain visibility/buy-in across theorganization/senior leadership. Ability to provide cross-functionalproject leadership and manage work through team members that arenot direct reports. Ability to facilitate communication andcollaboration across disparate teams without direct ownership toachieve program directives. Functional knowledge of MicrosoftOutlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Teams Strong communicationskills, both written and verbal.
