Medicaid UAT Tester (Jira/Reporting) 3+

Responsibilities:
JIRA Management & Reporting:

Input, update, and maintain project data and issue tracking in JIRA.
Conduct daily reviews to ensure JIRA data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Generate regular reports from JIRA for project stakeholders; analyze data for trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
Support defect management processes: log, track, and document detailed defect reports (including replication steps, expected vs. observed behavior, supporting screenshots, etc.).

UAT Execution & Support:

Execute test scripts developed and approved by DOH.
Document UAT test results following established processes.
Collaborate with DOH and KPMG teams to validate Medicaid eligibility rules, renewals, category codes, client correspondence, workload management, and related business processes.
Assist in regression and targeted retesting as needed.

Collaboration & Communication:

Serve as a primary resource for JIRA-related support and issue resolution.
Provide ongoing JIRA training and coaching to testing team members.
Actively collaborate with project managers, team leads, client SMEs, and system integrators to ensure smooth UAT execution.

Requirements:

3-5 years of hands-on experience with JIRA, including project setup, configuration, administration, custom fields, workflows, and reporting.
Proven experience generating JIRA reports and dashboards; ability to analyze and interpret data trends, testing metrics, defect patterns, and provide actionable insights to project leadership.
Experience supporting defect management processes: creating detailed defect tickets, documenting replication steps, tracking status, and coordinating resolution with development teams.
Familiarity with healthcare IT systems preferred; Medicaid or government healthcare project experience a plus.
Strong understanding of UAT processes, test execution, regression testing, and documenting test results.
Ability to follow established testing protocols and accurately log testing results in JIRA or test management tools.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business users, project managers, technical teams, and external vendors.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities, track testing progress, and meet deadlines.
