Architectural Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial projects in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record of managing NYC projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and client preferences. Responsibilities + Lead project design, drawing production, coordination, and construction administration. + Mentor junior staff and report to management. + Review DOB objections and ensure compliance with building codes, client preferences, and design intent. + Manage consultants on building projects, including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, expeditors, lighting, and acoustical consultants. + Oversee construction administration tasks, including handling RFIs, ASIs, and drawing review submittals. Essential Skills + Minimum 5 years of architectural experience with at least 2 years managing NYC projects. + Proficiency in Revit, including plug-ins such as Enscape. + Knowledge of AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and 3D computer modeling software. + Familiarity with NYC DOB processes, building codes, and zoning. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in interior design is a plus. + Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced, changing environment. Work Environment The work environment is a beautiful open space located in a Downtown Brooklyn high rise with 360-degree views of the city. The office consists of 35 people and is a tight-knit team, offering growth opportunities and direct collaboration with leadership and partners. The schedule includes working Monday to Thursday in the office, with Fridays from home.
