8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Note -This position will be part time: 20 hours per week. Workdays willbe Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The worker will need to workon Mondays and Thursdays. These are crucial days. The 3rd day isflexible but if the team needs the candidate on a certain day thecandidate must be flexible.

The Project Manager isa strategic business partner responsible for the oversight andmanagement of end-to-end activities on complex medical diagnosticequipment, assays and business improvement projects with anemphasis on driving quality execution. Anticipates, identifies andaddresses critical inter-dependencies and delivers insights throughissue identification, resolution and contingency planning,ultimately guiding teams towards milestone achievement. A ProjectManager must have strong critical thinking and decision-makingskills and the ability to influence without authority, infusing theproject teams with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountabilityand culture of high performance.
Responsibilities :
Deliversfundamental project management tools and composes project plansincluding schedule, budget and product features, incorporatinginput across multiple functions and outside partners. Outlines andtracks dependencies between functional areas. Proactivelyinfluences timely decisions and takes actions reflective ofbusiness objectives on delivery and alternative courses of actionto ensure project/product are on time, on specification, and onbudget. Runs regularly scheduled team meetings, providingtransparency around project progress (schedule, budget, resourcesand scope). Sets agenda and documents meeting outcomes. Identifieskey issues and potential challenges and proactively facilitatesscenario planning to identify the best choice among alternatives.
Recognizes conflict and applies strategies to overcome it.
Identifies and drives for resolution on issues related to projectplan (schedule, budget, resources and scope), facilitatingdiscussions between stakeholders. Escalates issues when appropriateDrives the team from concept through completion using definedpolicies and procedures. Assures all deliverables are completed anddocumented properly in each phase. Ability to keep project movingtoward successful completion leveraging aggressive schedules andovercoming unanticipated developments. Provides informationregarding tasks, plans, schedule, and strategies to stakeholderspartnering to capture and document requirements and specifications.
Proactively follows-up with team members to ensure projectdeliverables and interim milestones are met. Builds relationshipsand effectively communicates status and opportunities forimprovement throughout the team and across multiple levels of thebusiness. Provides candid and constructive feedback to functionalleaders relative to individual performance. Motivates the team toexceed expectations. Ability to encourage and enable people to worktogether as a team to accomplish the project. Promotes cross teamknowledge transfer of lessons learned. Delivers informative,well-organized presentations on project status and selected projecttopics. Promotes and implements process improvements and projectmanagement best practice methodologies and tools. Expected tomanage multiple moderately complex projects simultaneously. Keepstrack of lessons learned and shares those lessons with teammembers. Creates a positive environment; drives sense of urgencyand motivates the team. Perform other work-related duties asassigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required 3 years ofproject management including schedule development required orequivalent project experience 5 years of experience working inR D or manufacturing environment. Diagnostics or medical deviceindustry preferred Project Management Professional (PMP)certification is strongly preferred Familiar with MedicalRegulatory practices a strong plus. High-level understanding of newproduct development process with ability to adapt projectmanagement processes to Client’s product life cycle. Demonstratedmanagement role of complex cross functional projects. Expertiseusing Microsoft Project or equivalent project management softwarerequired including best practices for creating schedules, updatingschedules, and critical path analysis of highly complex schedulesFamiliarity with latest project management methodology (e.g. Agile)is preferred Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral)and presentation skills required. Ability to take calculated risksand demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functionalteam environment required Ability to influence and presentinformation to all levels of the organization including seniormanagement required Able to identify problems and lead proactiveproblem-solving efforts to achieve project goals.
