Architectural Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex architectural and interior design projects from conception through completion. This role is pivotal to our delivery model, requiring a strategic thinker with advanced project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for design excellence. Responsibilities Manage medium to large-scale projects across all phases. Collaborate with design and technical leaders to ensure project success. Develop project proposals, scopes, fees, work plans, and schedules. Coordinate consultants and manage project documentation and communication. Oversee budgets, schedules, and client expectations. Monitor financial performance and ensure timely billing. Contribute to the development of project management standards and best practices. Mentor team members and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Essential Skills Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program. 15+ years of experience in commercial architecture/design and project management. Advanced knowledge of design processes, building codes, and construction methods. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management tools such as BlueBeam Revu and Clearview. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and a desire for continuous learning. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated success in client and consultant coordination. Passion for mentoring and team development. Career Project Manager with satisfaction in this role; preference for candidates without former director-level or studio leader experience. Work Environment The office is located in midtown and is newly renovated, offering easy access for commuters. The NYC office consists of 40 people and fosters a vibrant, energetic environment.
