Full Job Description Role:
Project Manager –
Media/Broadcasting Location:
New York, NY (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full lifecycle of media/broadcast system implementation projects. Create project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with stakeholders and facilitate regular progress meetings. Oversee 3rd-party teams performing equipment installation and cable fabrication. Monitor execution against project plans and resolve issues proactively. Lead on-site efforts including scheduling, reporting, and quality assurance. Maintain continuous client communication and project visibility. Provide feedback to engineering teams for final as-built documentation. Manage time tracking, resource approvals, and team performance (PTO, advancement, discipline).
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in the broadcast/media industry as a Project Supervisor or Installation Lead. Expertise in large-scale professional media system deployments. Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation (schematics, floorplans, run lists, diagrams). Hands-on experience with cabling standards, connector types, and installation techniques. Familiarity with commercial building trades relevant to AV/media installations. Strong leadership, team coordination, and client-facing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); adept with project documentation tools. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
